Hayat humanitarian organization opened a school for Rohingya refugee children in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to give them modern education.
The organization started building the school a year ago until its completion recently and began to receive Rohingya refugee children.
The director of the organization Abdulaziz bin Mirdah said that the school curriculum includes modern education and it will also teach in three languages are Arabic, English and Malay.
Bin Mirdah said the organization aspires to eventually enroll 100 students as it builds a second school.
Bin Mirdah stressed that the organization’s ambition is to come out with a variety of competencies to serve the cause in various fields.
Some 80,000 Rohingyas have arrived in Malaysia at various times, most of them in the 2012 and 2015 crisis.
