Director General of Arakan Rohingya Union visits the Rohingya community school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr. Wakar Uddin’s message to the youngsters: “You are the future of the Rohingya people, and education is your backbone – that is the path to success.” Dr. Uddin encouraged the students to strive for the best, become the role models, and to be the example for the Rohingya community.
In his conclusion remark, he stated “Your success in education is the key to advancing your career; taking care of your families and friends; helping your neighbors and your community in Malaysia and in Arakan, serving the humanity around the world at every opportunity; …and you will be loyal to and serve your host country, Malaysia, that has provided you the refuge when your families escaped the persecution, killing, atrocities, and terror on your own soil in your own country, Myanmar.”
