Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said it was inappropriate to place the burden of refugees on Myanmar’s Muslims in Bangladesh, calling for sharing the burden of sheltering Rohingya Muslims.
“There is an increasing need for the values and principles advocated by the G-8 developing countries, which are the creating of a world of security, stability and peace,” Erdogan said in a speech at the ninth summit of the Group of Eight developing Islamic countries.
The Turkish president stressed the importance of the use of local currencies in trade between the countries of the group, which will be a revolution in the history of the Group of Eight Islamic.
