Director General of Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) Dr. Wakar Uddin represented Rohingya minority in the first-of-a-kind global summit with over 300 participating representatives and leaders representing over 40 countries.
Dr. Wakar Uddin spoke about the suffering of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and also about other minorities suffering around the world.
President Erdogan spoke passionately about the importance of solidarity and coherence in the Ummah on the premise of our common identity, regardless of how far apart the communities may be, geographically. Prime Minister Yildirim, Parliament Speaker Kahraman, and Diyanet President Dr. Erbas all spoke on the same theme of fostering the solidarity in the Ummah and providing mutual support in tackling all forms of challenges.
