Cultural exhibition highlights the Rohingya Muslims in Sudan

Rohingya students participated in Sudan national cultural exhibition at the University of Rabat under the slogan of “the tragedy of Myanmar Muslims” to highlight the tragedy suffered by the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. It was opened by the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Rabat Dr. Aisha Al Sufi.
Al Sufi expressed admiration for the exhibition and its contents, saying that this work is a great job at a time when Muslims were preoccupied with their Rohingya brothers and other issues, claims to circulate the idea of the exhibition by others to reflect positively on the Rohingya Issue.

He said organizers of the exhibition aimed to enlighten the Sudanese and Arab society Muslims about Myanmar historically and geographically also publicize the cause of Muslims in Myanmar about forced displacement by the government in addition of providing a peaceful heritage of arts properties regarding communication between segments of Sudanese society and break down the barriers that initiated the tragedies in years.

Foreign immigrant’s relations official Mahmoud Ahmed Fadel said the exhibition was found desirability and was visited by professors, students and visitors from outside the university, expressed his thanks and appreciation to all of the work on the establishment while organizing the exhibition.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition was sponsored by the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) and the Organization of foreign students care in Sudan and the Union of Myanmar Muslims students in Sudan.
