15 Rohingya fishermen have been arrested by Bangladesh Navy on Thursday near St Martin’s Island.

Bangladesh authorities say the Burmese Muslims were fishing in Bangladesh waters.

The arrested Rohingyas have been transferred to police custody.

Locals in Maungdaw say that rough weather might have blown the fishermen towards Bangladesh.
