The Assistant Director of the Federation of Rohingya Arakan ARU Abdullah Maruf said that the return of Rohingya refugees from Bangladesh to Arakan is a very important and necessary requirement in accordance with the conditions set by the Security Council that is to, the return of refugees safe and sustainable, dignified and voluntary, explaining that the Government of Bangladesh has a major humanitarian role in the crisis that has a major positive impact, with over one million Rohingyas being accepted into their territory, supported by shelter, food and drink and facilitated by relief organizations.
He called on the international community to quickly find a safe and quick solution to ensure the repatriation of Rohingya refugees from Bangladesh to Myanmar in accordance with the terms and agreements that guarantee the return of their stolen rights and recognition within the ethnicities of Myanmar, pointing out the need to return them to their places of origin in Myanmar.
This came during a visit by a well-known to the Rohingya refugee camps last week, during which he briefed him on the situation of refugees and the mechanisms of distributing humanitarian aid to them. He also met with a number of officials from the Government of Bangladesh and the Bangladeshi army which oversees the organization of refugee situations during his visit .
It is noteworthy that there are more than one million Rohingya in the refugee camps in Bangladesh, half arrived three months ago by the genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the Myanmar army against Rohingya in Arakan state.
