The Director General of the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU), Professor Wakaruddin bin Masihuddin, visited the Burmese Religious Center in Dubai, UAE on Wednesday.
During the visit, Wakaruddin met with the Board of Directors of the Center and learned about the conditions of the Rohingya community residing in the United Arab Emirates and the efforts exerted by the Center to serve the community and improve the living and educational standards of the community.
In a speech, Wakaruddin reviewed the efforts made by the Union to resolve the issue of Rohingya in Myanmar and their access to their human rights, pointing to the support of the UAE government for the issue in international forums.
