Director general of Arakan Rohingya Union – ARU Dr. Wakar Uddin was at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
At the United Nations Dr. Wakar Uddin had comprehensive meeting with officials with the pursuit of peace in Northern Arakan/Rakhine State. The escalation of recent violence must be stopped, the Rohingya civilian population must be protected – an international obligation for protection of civilian population in armed conflict zone.
