A Rohingya refugee survived an interrogated death after fired by the Myanmar forces hit her as she fled the border area she had taken refuge in.
The gun fired by Myanmar troops, hit the briefcase she was carrying and burned her clothes.
The Myanmar authorities have stepped up their security forces near the border with Bangladesh in an area where thousands of Rohingya Muslims have taken refuge on the Myanmar side of the border. Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday it had summoned the Myanmar ambassador to protest.
