Videos showed that gangs of ethnic Mogh Buddhist took herds of cows from the villages of Rohingya after the displacement of their people and the burning of their homes.
“We are recording this with high risk” the correspondent said, adding very few videos or pictures could be taken of such thefts. The Buddhist gangs formed as small militias are protected directly by the army and enjoy full immunity and protection.
He added that it was not only the theft of cattle, but all the property including money, jewelry, accessories and food; as well as the settlement of Buddhists from Bangladesh, ethnic Mogh and Shakma who inhabit the forest within the settlement of Muslim villages, which is considered by human rights as a flagrant violation of human rights and deliberately to change the demographic structure of the region.
