“Organization of Islamic Cooperation” discusses the development of Rohingya minority in Jeddah

Independent Permanent Commission on Human Rights of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation announced they held its seventh session to discuss the minority Muslim Rohingyas conditions in Burma and a number of issues on its agenda in the period from 19 to 23 April 2015 in the city of Jeddah.

The body will also discuss in the sessions about the subject of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights in the Member States of the Organization and the subject of the Muslims of the Central African Republic, and the subject of the human rights situation in Kashmir.
It is scheduled to attend by the Member States, observer membership and senior officials of the OIC General Secretariat, in addition to the members of the Commission, international experts and specialists.
