Rohingya elderly man was killed after the illness after he was arrested and kept in custody for five-days in the state of Arakan in Myanmar.

A reporter of Arakan News Agency told that the old man of the Shaab Bazar village, one of the villages in Buthidaung City was arrested on the fourth of this month, along with other men were imprisoned in the courtyard of the village school without any charge at a time when the village going through a wave of severe seasonal cold.

The correspondent added that the cold wave caused the exposure to seasonal diseases.

It is noteworthy that such arbitrary arrests and the use of schools for the imprisonment without any justification has thrived in recent times and in several areas of Arakan.
